چکیده
The study was carried out to analyse the economics of shifting land from field crops hog plum cultivation in southern Bangladesh during July September 2018. A total 120 farmers were selected by using multistage stratified random sampling technique collect primary data. Result shows that per hectare average cost Tk. 94,126. yield 7.97 t ha-1. Net return 126,921 hectare. By cultivating plum, obtained 56 93% higher net than other existing cropping patterns. Since BCR (2.94), NPV (Tk. 2215,000) and IRR (59%) very high, decision towards sensible. However, low initial stages plantation. Initial investment support public or private sector could facilitate growth this practice.

Spondias mombin has been used in traditional medicine for the management of several diseases, including memory loss. This study aimed to evaluate the cholinesterase inhibitory activity of the methanol extract of the leaves and its derived fractions, as well as carry out detailed phytochemical investigations leading to the isolation and characterization of bioactive compounds from the plant. The...

The growing problems of tuberculosis have led to the search for new anti-Mtb agents from higher plants. The stem bark of Spondias mombin was evaluated for its in vitro activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (H37Rv strain). Bioassay-guided fractionation of the methanol extract was carried out by Vacuum Liquid Chromatography (VLC) on Silica gel (230-400 mesh) and purification was done using ...

The arboreal species Spondias mombin L. (Anacardiaceae) is widely distributed in Brazil, where the fruits, known by the common name of cajá, are an important commercial commodity. We evaluated genetic variability among 32 cajá accessions of the Germplasm Collection of Embrapa Meio-Norte using RAPD technique. Reaction conditions for efficient RAPD amplifications were optimized in prelimina...
